Earthstone is a design duo, comprising Damian Jodorowksy and Timote Rouffignac from Brussels, united by the shared desire to design and produce raw earth objects for interiors. The Earthstone story revolves around materials unique to this project, combining raw earth’s recyclability with stone’s durability. Rooted in the concept of valorizing earth, which is abundantly available in excavation sites required for urban construction, they explore the imagination of nature. This exploration manifests through creating forms that alternate between the mineral and the organic. Earthstone seamlessly merges techniques borrowed from modern industrial production processes with the artisanal skills of working with raw earth. This unique integration ultimately seeks to pomote ecological and circular design.
