Born in Belgium, Elizabeth Djamdjiev has always studied and worked in the field of art and culture. After training in art conservation/restoration (ENSAV La Cambre), she worked for many public and private institutions and taught at the Royal Academy of Antwerp. Passionate about the performing arts, Elizabeth also studied theater and directing and co-founded the Compagnie Cadre-Blanc.

In 2005 she moved to Switzerland where she studied Space Design and Scenography (Athenaeum - Lausanne). She began to develop a passion for vintage and contemporary design.

Back in Belgium in 2017, she is hired for Design September and the Vintage Design platform "Design Addict". In 2020, she is appointed artistic director of Brussels Design September.
