Contemporary art curator Kevin Kotahunyi founded the artistic and curatorial platform PLEASE ADD COLOR in May 2019. When he entered the art industry as an artist in 2018, only 1% of visual arts students in Antwerp were found to be people of color. Proper guidance for these aspiring artists was also lacking.

Kotahunyi's curatorial projects form from his own artistic experiences.

He strives for more diversity in the visual arts and culture world as a curator and consultant. For example, from PLEASE ADD COLOR he guides young artists of color in the start and further development of their artistic careers. This also translates into workshops.
