Hi, my name is Linn Velghe, a Brugean furniture designer, with a strong interest in sustainability, architecture, and history. In 2024, I founded my own Studio: linnvstudio.

I finished my studies as an Interior Designer in 2007. After that, I did a Master Interior Architecture (2009) and a Post Graduate in Conservation of Monuments and Sites (2011). I started teaching as an Architectonics lecturer in 2013, but kept working independently as an Interior Architect.

I always designed and dreamed of my own furniture, so I leave no free space without creating pieces, artwork, or drawings. My passion has always been the line between art, design, and architecture, with a strong focus on materials and storytelling.

My work explores the interplay between balance and imbalance, weight and lightness, solidity and fragility. Each piece is less a resolution than a question: how can mass hover, how can fragility endure? Through line, volume, and material, I investigate paradoxes where the rooted becomes floating, the solid becomes delicate. These contradictions reveal the poetics of construction—the silent forces of gravity, support, and suspension. Beyond function, the objects become spatial studies of equilibrium, experiments in architectural poise and material expression, inviting pause at the threshold between stability and uncertainty.
